Dear Mediator:
I have read about Lake County Mediations from time to time in the newspaper, but never thought that I might need your help. I am stuck in a dispute with a vendor for my small business. He says I still owe $1500 on an order that I paid for over two years ago. I say that the debt was paid in full, but as luck would have it, cannot find my records to prove it. Now he is threatening to take me to Small Claims Court. If I come to you for help, how do I know that the mediator from your organization has the expertise to help solve this problem?
